Hey everyone,
duno who still visit this blog once in a while :)
well,i do :)
so yeah,duno how everyone is doing,
but this is alrdy 2nd year in poly :)
more activities and modules are getting interesting (tough!)

hi CK,
everybody is on with their new life,
mr low has a to take charge of a new class, you have new friends.
To comment that the blog is dead is an easy thing to do.

The reason for the blog or site is for 4A of 2009 to remember sth
when the path of 4A students gets uncomfortable one day.

When they were younger and more carefree!
Life goes on.....
we will meet again if fate has it.
So dont say the blog is dead and lament.
it is just part of living and growing.

Happy Teacher's Day 2009 4A

Wow what a different Teacher's Day 2009!
I got to watch a horror movie and even received a report book!
I have been here for 6 years or so, spent most of my time scolding students during my DM days...
I didnt have any form classes in PSS for 4 years, except 2007 and 2009.

Not that 2007 form class was not good, just that they needed a lot of pushing and pushing throughout the 9 months of sec.4. Almost all of them went to Poly and they are in their 2nd year. Around 7 of them came back to see me... they turn out to be good citizen and responsible young adults too.

2009 4A is just different!
Responsible, diligent, hardworking and a sensitive lot.......not to mention pretty and good looking students.. I knew 1st Sep 09 will come one day since January and started this blog as a memory log. The day has finally arrived... I cannot stop it. And students of 4A will leave once they start mugging for their exams. Its part of life...Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

I can always look back at some photos at this blog or comments to remember 4A.
I can always look at what some of the 4A girls wrote of me.. ( that's the best part of being a male teacher, can receive many girls' letters!) i married the one girl who wrote to me 13 years ago ;)

The happy thing about being a teacher is that you see students moving on with their new life and doing new things as "O' level goes by... The sad thing is that Im still around in a school... have to teach "O" again and again.... for your information, I did 9 rounds of 'O", including my very own!! Think abt it!!!!

4A and 4B:

Plan first by putting up your Exam timetable dates in your study table.
Select the questions/ topics/ books/ notes / concept maps / guides that you want to study and Organise the file!!!!
Do a short term study plan and stick to it.
Remember to excercise and drink lots of water, eat Vitamin C(100mg/day at least) and drink soya milk 2 times / week. It improves memory
Sleep at least 6 hours per day, the more better.
1/2 hour before any exams, relax and dont cram anything.. honestly.. it wont help
Once a paper 1 is over, forget abt it and dont look for answers, prepare the nest paper!!

Hi everybody, I have not written on this site for some time,
i wanted it to be a place where u can share some ideas, thoughts, so please contribute more.......you can take back some memories as years go by ..... i try not to interfere with the younger generation expression.

i saw some of you visibly upset about the MT results. i can understand that u feel upset, i mean who wouldn't..... if he or she has put in so much time and effort.

What i want you to know is that:
i am not upset abt you all, i feel good to be 4A form teacher, in good times or not so happy times,
I always know 4A will put in their best effort and determination. There are many things that you all are going to do in the next 10 years. It wont be smooth sailing every time, you will meet sad times and happy times. You must realise this.

When you are down, look around you and count the good things that you have..friends, toys, ipod, parents, good health, good looks etc. Don t be overburdened by your upset.
If you can do sth about it, do it one more time with your best effort!
If you can't do sth abt it, be honest and accept it and MOVE on to a new journey.
Ignore ppl who say things to discourage you! or spread negative thoughts.

i brought my family to watch the animation call 'UP" ..... it has good message about life, happiness, persuing your goals......... in fact it is a serious cartoon. My son doesnt understand it..but i bet you will. if you can , go watch it..

Hello everybody, i can see some 4B friends here, welcome....
as long as the posting are not offensive or adult rated its ok.

Mr low is busy this few weeks, no holidays for me as i need to set milestone 2 ,
mid year exams and common tests for 1 and 3.

As you all are studying weeks after weeks, please rem to do some PE!
set a time to play outdoor games, basketball, football etc
esp the girls... dont study the whole week long with no break.. go shopping if need too.

And no , no the blog will not be dead.. at least until November.
If nobody talks... i talk to myself!

10 weeks of hard work.......
This is the first time i put up a post @ 4A-100

4A has been progressing well, some of you may not achieved what u wanted
after all the hard work.
Dont be discouraged, life is like that , sometimes it doesnt mean everything will work in your way despite all the work. But you have tried! and that is an effort.
The thing you need to do is find out what have stopped you from getting your results or goals?
Is it your Saturday late nite gaming activities? You dont understand a topic and yet too afraid or shy to ask teachers? U cant remember well ?
You can do sth about it.. Try to understand your weakness and work on your strength...
Ask your teacher to help you. We are here to help you not FAIL you.
Next year this time round, you will be having a very different life...
think of it and you will smile...

I-Journalists journalists visiting 4A

I am posting this just for the sake of doing it to make the blog look more interesting...lol.

On 6th Feb 2009, the journalists from Channel NewsAsia, I-Journalists, visited Punggol Secondary School. They did a short interview with some students from 4A concerning the noise pollution, which was caused by the construction sites around the school building.

If you are interested to watch this short interview, the programme will be shown on TV at 16th Feb 2009, 8:30pm on Channel NewsAsia. Watch it if you must.
